His Holiness to inaugurate the Largest Ahmadiyya Muslim Mosque in British Columbia
His Holiness, Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the Khalifa of Islam and the spiritual and administrative head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community arrived in Vancouver today.
Various Community leaders and government officials received His Holiness at the Vancouver Airport. His Holiness was given official state guest honors and Police motorcade escort from the airport.
His Holiness, who is the 5th successor of the founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad – reached Baitul Rahman Mosque in Delta, BC in the evening. Thousands of adherents and dignitaries lined the streets to welcome His Holiness.
During the visit, His Holiness will inaugurate the Baitul Rahman Mosque (House of the Gracious God). The inauguration will take place on Saturday May 18th (11:00am – 2:00pm) at 9570 River Rd, Delta, BC. Members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community have traveled from across Canada and abroad to take part in this historic occasion.
His Holiness is the foremost religious leader advocating world peace, universal justice and interfaith dialogue. He will be giving various keynote addresses and sharing the true Islamic viewpoint on contemporary issues.
